hpqbam08.exe is yet another HP garbage process. There's a reason why the HP "drivers" approach 100Mb in download size and its because they install all kinds of garbage software on your system. If you like the various apps HP uses then leave this alone. I personally stick with the stock Windows 7 scanning and printing interface.
