TFService.exe is threatfire scanning service which is an antivirus tool that has very mixed reviews. Take cnet as an example they gave it a 5 star while the same sites user reviews have it a little under 3 stars. It seems it's a pretty nice app that has potential but just isn't catching enough viruses
