Toddso, how do I keep this from being downloaded in my Bearshare? I've tried to block it, but it doesn't stop!! What is my next step?
SirpaulThe file BSProInstall5.2.5.1.exe tries to download itself using bear share...I am constantly blocking it but it still attempts to download itself unless i close bear share..going to get my anti-virus to block it. You can contact me at sirpaul896@hotmail.com
David MasseyI have not found a way to keep BSProInstallXXX.exe from reappearing in the download listing after deleting it but I did find that by right-clicking on the file and choosing "Pause" will suspend any further attempts to download it. It will still stay on the list to annoy you but at least it is harmless in the paused state.
Tony Same problem as above, I deleted some entries in the registry but they come back whenever I restart bearshare, I don't know what file is associated with bsproinstall.exe
summergod you're a bunch of dildos.... just block it and don't delete it.... if you see it as blocked ... and it stays red... then bearshare will know not to download it... if it starts up again when you restart bearshare.. just block it again... just DONT DELETE.. or it will see it as NOT being blocked.... simple as that... i figured that one out in less than a minute.
