rcohenSimply Amazing. I've had conime.exe on my system since 03, according to my info and NONE of my anti spyware software as ID'd it. Why do people bother paying these companies for protection? Arrrgh
edgybApparently conime.exe is a legit part of XP Asian Language support. One site says if you don't have Asian language pack on your computer, then it's spyware. (Is it possible to have both the legit and the spyware on your system? Arrrgh indeed.)
d0rkus :)The file conime.exe is a windows system file known as console IME , it runs if the user opens a *dos* box , it is located in the windows/system32/ folder BUT if is it located in ANY other folder it IS a KNOWN BACKDOOR ! So dont delete the 1 in windows/system32 , but delete it if found anywhere else :)
Zø1nhøThis isnt' a backdoor, it's a file for asian windowns...
