What does navapsvc.exe do?
This is the service that is run by Norton AV to protect your system from
infection. This does things like scan your emails as they come in and scanning
files as you open or download them. This can be a severe resource hog if all of
the options are enabled. I personally turn a lot of these options off and use my
head for bug avoidance.
