Unknown Trojan - polall1r.exe
How to remove it?
This seems to get past HJT 1.99.0 somehow and the term polall1r.exe is near
the top of our forum ref log for January so I thought I should post something
about it. I've been searching for quite a while now and haven't found a valid
application using this .exe or the .cab file that is related to it.
Boot into safe mode and search for and remove all instances of polall1r.exe
and polall1r.cab. They are usually in temp directories but have it search your
entire computer just to be safe.
Use HJT and remove any items in your startup list that seem to be randomly
generated to help prevent this from coming back.
